Solution architecture
Do you have a new idea, a new business need or an existing system that needs to support new functionality? Have your current and new requirements outgrown your application?
Are you searching for guidance on how to make this happen and in the meantime strive for a consistent delivery mechanism even after your first few releases?
All of it starts with listening. Listening to each other: what are your business needs, what is your current landscape, what do your competitors do and how do you want to position yourself to them? Asking the tough questions results in an understanding of what makes your business work.
From that understanding, from that knowledge comes architecture. An architecture that is based on the sole premise that makes your business work: things change. If we make an architecture for today, it is outdated by tomorrow.
Only by understanding your past and present goals can we model for evolution and aim to minimize software rework when your business goals change once more.

If your team can’t build it, we’re doing it wrong
At Strategy ICT we have felt the difference first-hand on how an automatic deployment pipeline influences the direction of the product, the speed with which can be delivered and the flexibility it offers is unrivalled to any other mindset.
For every solution we strongly believe in automating what can be automated, in avoiding the repetitive manual tasks that have caused so many issues in production systems.
When considering your team size and investment capabilities your best solution might be to work out a monolithic-like architecture, but we know that after some time your needs wil evolve into something bigger.
We’re here to give you the right guidance from the start and let your new (or old) system be ready for that evolution. No to “unravelling the big ball of mud”-meetings after year 1. Yes to structured systems that can evolve into full-blown service oriented architectures (or microservices) but don’t necessarily need that overhead from the start.
We believe in informing you – the customer – before starting the project and avoiding blank-cheque scenarios. By combining well-known industry standard techniques with our own experiences, we can push your team to new levels of competence and consistency.

Cloud and Product Roadmap
Your company has goals, wishes and cultural needs.
Sometimes these wishes and needs are different across business units or teams and may not even be aligned with the top of the company.
By conducting a series of interviews across the organization we can get a lot of information in a short time span, no lengthy architectural mumbo-jumbo. Just plain targets and answers. Just like with solution architecture we try to captivate the essence of the issue: evolution.
Other times everyone is aligned on what the wishes are, but the road towards the goal is unclear due to lack of project management or software management experience. If you don't have a CIO/CTO we can temporarily fill in the void.
What you won't hear from us is buzzwords like: MVP, fail fast, agile and the likes. We help you do the not-sexy stuff: build your team, what is it to listen to developer needs, how to make the combination of developer and business-needs align, where should business users improve and what do you need to teach your developers for your roadmap to work.
Team structure, project structure, application structure, operations & development team alignment. These are all things that are part of the roadmap.
